This endorsement comes from a county that used to be in the 9th, was redistricted into the 6th, and has recently rejoined the 9th! Mike Jones lives in Switzerland County and was the 9th District Democrat Chairman from 1988-2011. He served as the Switzerland County County Council President from 1984-2014, and he formerly worked as a social studies teacher, principal and school superintendent. Mike is also a pastor at the Patriot Baptist Church. It’s obvious after listening to Mike speak that he cares about his neighbors and has worked a life of service to improve his community.
